WUF Magazine 007 Curated by Domenico Formichetti
WUF presents Issue 007 of WUF Magazine, curated by Domenico Formichetti.
In this issue Formichetti explores the relationship between audio objects and culture. He traces how portable sound devices have shaped identity, style and the way people move through the world, from the streets of New York in the late seventies and eighties to today.
Through images and stories, the magazine looks at how objects like the Walkman and the Ghetto Blaster became more than tools. They turned into expressions of freedom, resistance and personal identity. The issue reflects on the role that design and sound have played in subcultures, fashion and the way generations have claimed their space, both in public and in private.
This issue also marks an important step for Formichetti. It coincides with the launch of his new creative studio, FORMICHETTI HD, focused on product design and personal projects.
